    Shimmer,

Honestly I think you're making some big assumptions here regarding the pro active video and getting your product tested.

When HCT announced they were getting PathAway the active ingredient in their NatShield sanitiser and SKN's Invisishield sanitiser tested they saw fit to announce it on the 16/3 as a market sensitive announcement.

I see no such announcement to the asx from SKN purporting to do the same.
Pro active is not where you release material information.

As far as the MD saying "our product" well if I go and buy something from someone else does it not then by virtue of ownership become "mine"?

SKN are buying the active ingredient PathAway from HCT and by installing it in their Invisishield sanitiser they can rightfully say it's "our product" and by proxy yes in fact their product is being tested in a UK lab.
The active ingredient is being tested and I thinks that's why the MD is stating what he is.

Seems to much of a coincidence if it is and SKN seem happy to utilise and promote HCT's global rights to the active ingredient so why not the results as well.

Happy to be proven wrong but pretty certain that is exactly what is happening.

If you don't think the value of SKN is being attributed to the active ingredient PathAway then look back at the share price prior to the announcement on 3/4.
    It was trading sub 2c.

"Australian-listed companies Skin Elements Limited (ASX: SKN) (‘Skin Elements’ and Holista Colltech Limited (ASX:HCT) (‘Holista’ announced today a Binding Collaboration Term Sheet (Agreement) to launch a natural alcohol-free hand sanitiser that combines Skin Elements’ new skin-sensitive anti-microbial formula with the Path-Away® active ingredient distributed by Holista."

The market cap has increased five fold based purely on being able to secure the active ingredient that's going to kill the virus!!

    It's that simple.
Without this collaboration SKN wouldn't be anywhere near this share price.

And no I'm not here to down ramp SKN as I hold the stock as well just attempting to put a more balanced view forward.

If PathAway doesn't kill the virus then SKN has nothing and neither does HCT for that matter regarding effective non alcohol based sanitisers. They do have other products but not here to comment on them.

I own both as I consider the results are a foregone conclusion.
PathAway has proven effective in killing previous corona viruses such as SARS as well as H1N1 so I see no reason why it won't kill covid 19 either.

    The science is proven already.

    From the creator of PathAway.

Let’s look at simple fungi. The main body of most fungi is made up of fine, branching, usually colorless threads called hyphae. Each fungus will have vast numbers of these hyphae, all intertwining to make up a tangled web called the mycelium. Each hypha consists of one or more cells surrounded by a tubular cell wall. A mass of hyphae makes up the body of a fungus, which is called a mycelium. The hyphae of most fungi are divided into cells by internal walls called septa.
With fungi, when the product comes in direct contact it disrupts the cytoplasmic membrane preventing the uptake of amino acids. When aerosolized it acts as an attractant and pathogenic bioaerosols “cling or clump” and the individual aflatoxins and/or mycotoxins kill each other.

Let’s look at bacteria. Bacteria are prokaryotes found in most habitats on the Earth. They are unicellular microorganisms. Bacteria can grow in harsh conditions. Bacteria form dense aggregations by attaching to surfaces. These aggregations are mat like structures called biofilms.
With bacteria, since they are single cell organisms, which can and do aggregate, the process is similar. The cellular membrane is penetrated thereby destroying the organism.

Let’s look at viruses. A virus is a particle considered as non-living form. Viruses show neither respiration nor metabolism. A virus consists of its genetic material, either DNA or RNA, covered by a protein core. Usually, viruses are infectious agents, requiring a host for their replication. They infect all life forms including animals, plants, bacteria and humans. Viruses can be found in almost every ecosystem on the Earth. Thus, they are the most abundant biological entity type.
With viruses, the process is a bit more complex. For this reason, the sequence of compounding Path-Away Anti-Pathogenic Aerosol Solution® was most critical. The current scourge, COVID-19, is what is referred to as an “enveloped” virus. The structure is complex.

    • Spike Protein
This segment of the virus has a spike protein which is heavily glycosylated and utilizes a terminal signal sequence to gain access and mediate attachment to host receptors. It is the largest structure and makes the distinct spikes on the surface of the virus. For most coronaviruses, the spike protein is cleaved by a host cell protease into two separate polypeptides.
    • RNA
This is the genome of the virus.
    • Nucleocapsid protein
This segment binds to RNA in vitro and is heavily phosphorylated. The protein binds the viral genome in a bead format and forms a string type formation. This protein likely helps bind the viral genome to the replicase-transcriptase complex, and subsequently packages the encapsulated genome into viral particles.
    • Envelope protein
This segment is found in small quantities in within the virus. It is most likely a transmembrane protein and with ion channel activity. The protein facilitates assembly and release of the virus and has other functions such as ion channel activity. It is not necessary for viral replication but it is for pathogenesis.
    • Membrane protein
This segment is the most abundant structural protein. It does not contain signal sequence and exists as a dimer in the virion. It may have two different conformations to enable it to promote membrane curvature as well as bind to nucleocapsid.
    • Hemagglutinin-esterase dimer protein
This segment is present in a subset of beta-coronaviruses. The protein binds sialic acids on surface glycoproteins. The protein activities are thought to enhance the spike protein-mediated cell entry and virus spread through the mucosa.
Looking at the overall structure it’s obvious that the key is the “envelope protein”. Since its main function is facilitating the assembling and release of the virus (replication, transmission) this is the key area to be addressed.
For this reason, the sequencing of Path-Away Anti-Pathogenic Solution® compounding is designed to overcome the resistance of the spike protein, retain toxicity enough to penetrate and disrupt the envelope protein which totally disrupts the ability of the nucleocapsid protein causing a sort of internal hemorrhage and destruction of the virus itself.
The unique properties of Path-Away Anti-Pathogenic Solution® accomplish this while remaining safe to humans due to its inherent low toxicity arrived at by careful choice of product components.
