So what are people's thoughts on the direction for ISX to appoint an independent expert?
In my opinion, the most likely issue that the expert would be appointed for would be to provide an opinion based on their industry expertise in relation to the integration revenue that ISX recognised so that the performance shares vested.
I'd say the main view sought from an expert would be whether the revenue ISX booked was actually consistent with what should be expected to be charged in the payments sector for pass through software licensing and integration work of that nature.
Hypothetically, if ISX charged excessively for the work then it begs the question, why would a customer pay "overs" for such work?
