As far as paying for stuff in split payments, if I average my CC bill 3k per month there's nothing with setting up automatic payments of 700 a week, the day after your pay day.
it seems to me that combining APT split payments and CC interest free days only delays your payments, possibly allowing you to get further behind in payments, buying too much stuff because you only have to pay for your latest shop in 2 months time and potentially getting into a trap of thinking you have more money than you actually have. What are you going to do if you get suddenly hit a large expense such as your car breakdown but you have already spent your next 8 pay checks in advance?(assuming weekly pay)
