Let me be clear, the market isn't going to follow the 20yr cycle exactly or even close at all to 20yrs ago or 40yrs ago for the bear cycle.

There are other cycles in the market such as the 5, 7, 10, 58yr and if they are out of phase to prior times the market will look entirely different (I think the 58yr cycle which hit in 1929 and 1987 is what is confusing ninelives into thinking the 1929 peak was the 20yr cycle turning down - it wasnt).

What I am saying is these broad periods of bull and bear markets is governed by the 20yr cycle.

What happens between those two points is another thing.
