When SA Parliament resumes on the 28th of October, a bill will be introduced on whether mining is permanantly banned within Arkaroola Sanctuary or not.
The Liberals, the Greens, and the independants all support the proposed mining ban, and Labour does not seem to have a party position on this bill.
There is a very major risk that Marathon will not be able to mine Mt Gee should this bill be passed.
Some big players got out today.
The politicians of Adelaide would already have a pretty good idea of which way the vote is going to go.
