I agree that it is a no brainer, however I feel that the SRL share price may be held back in the short term despite this discount as investors may not ascribe as much value to the "investment" in SAR given the volatility in the markets and the movement in value of this holding. Rather I think that given the nervousness out there they would rather see something more tangible such as the quarterly production figures or the half year result before we see an appreciation in the share price at which point the value of the investment will become apparent to people based upon its actual/physical performance.

I fell that the share price will also be held back somewhat by profit takers as no doubt some bought in in the low dollar range and can currently realise a 50% profit a narrow short term focus in my opinion.

I aslo think buying opportunities may arise again in SRL given market volatility.
