China New Energy invested in an Adelaide based in situ gasification project today so there is a lot of potential in Australia. the political class and their stupid, excessive lockdown sends China mental even though they are interested in Australia, Australia plays hard ball and xenophobia cards in making it difficult to do business and not give anything away.
China is much more open now, had nothing to do with Brad Hazzard, the NSW Health Ruby Princess debacle, Gladys and Scott Morrison (won’t even talk to caretakers like him) and want nothing more than to partner with Australia. that would be good for jobs, finance and the economy as a whole.
Peter Dutton, Dave Sharma, Andrew Bragg, Mark Speakman and Matt Kean should make overtures to Beijing and China. China wants to deal with real leaders not fake ones. Australia could do much better with China as a strategic partner than it has for the last 119 years. Just look at England and how well English has been doing since the 1970s.
