I've been in commercial construction for over 30 years, and have only ever seen the principal contractor terminated once in that time. It really cannot be done unless there has been a gross breech of contract; it really is particularly difficult to achieve because it has to be proven that the fault is that of the contractor alone. In a complex construction project, that can be difficult … and the NEXTDC projects are extremely complex.
Not a good look for FDC, that's for sure.
