Hi Garmel I had the same criticism 9 months also back when i said Engin was not cut n dry to deliver TiVo. Then as now i copped a mouth full by many forum posters. That Engin had signed a contract and Seven had to abide by that contract. I posted that Seven had a controling stake in Engin and they could do what they like. And as Seven had just purchase Unwired, Unwired had a better deliver path. The rest is history. I posted an unrelated tip for Freshtel holders about 5 months ago as the FRE shareprice was in freefall. I posted is company was very cheap at .081 cents and it was likely a takeover was on the cards today it closed at .135 and takeover talk are in progress now and likely to see the S.P much higher. Now to Mobile Wimax! "Mr Stokes" himself said he belivers in Wimax and are planing a rollout next year i have posted links to both those clains and dozens more links to posts.
I find it hilarious that standup would say and i quote:: If ENG releases an announcement relating to WIMAX then I will listen as standup also said this and i quote again:: they tend to surprise the market rather than set a release date so we will have to wait and see. 15-10-08
Back to Wimax(4G) LTE and Mobile Wimax are almost the same technology and many in the industry belive the two technologys will co-exist. We will see more Mobile Wimax spectrum up for Auction in the 2.5GHz as the T.V stations move from analogue to digital. This is where i see the cashcow for VOiP, "MOBILE" be it LTE or Mobile Wimax. This is the connection Seven buying Unwired Who holds the biggest wireless spectrum in Australia twice to three times as much as Telstra. And Seven been a partner and holding a controling stake in Engin which Seven needs for it's triple play. Broadband, content, and Voice(VOiP).
