Berad, there's another reason, and to me it's more plausible.
Because if they had an ARDS trial with a partner, WE WOULD KNOW.
To me the more plausible explanation is that there is something amiss with the tech and/or the licensing, and they don't want to tell anyone any more than is necessary. Anyone who is skilled in the art and can examine the tech seems to have shied away. It is not in Ross's interests to tell the market this, as he is at the arse end of his career and possibly this is his last shot. My view is that he is trying to extract as much cash out of this before it crashes and burns.
