my opinion is nice place for a holiday but the capital gains and strong rental demand are more towards the city. they rise first and the trickle on effects happen to outlying areas after.
a also read somewhere that holiday homes should feel the pinch first so that would be such places as toot, rye rosebud, etc.
but who knows...
