It will unlikely be over... ever. We as a people have about as good a chance to eradicate Covid as we do eradicating influenza.
It will be a gradual easing of restrictions based on risk exposure. There is no "winning" against corona. There will eventually be a vaccine but it will remain in society like measles, influenza or any other similar virus.
So CTD recovery to where it once was will be tied in with turnaround time on a vaccine in my opinion.
