Well I thought I was being brave when I bought 200 at the close......I am not a gambler. I based my decision on the following:
1. Close was near the high of the day
2. Volume was almost double that of yesterday .....
3. Dow futures was up over 100 points
4. A gap down on high volume closing near the high could be an exhaustion gap...first part of an island reversal.....
The close of the day is significant as it means buying pressure....The above points combined signalled a buy for me...but I am a cautious trader who takes a small position first up.....I believe it will be up tomorrow..more than likely a gap up but I could be wrong...
If the SP goes no lower tomorrow this is a strong buy signal and I will add to my position....
If you bought a 1000 at the close and the SP gaps up tomorrow you will be very happy...
