copper smashed massive pressure on pna, page-26

All metal prices are getting pounded at the moment, zinc, copper,iron etc and even gold now.... some metal prices are already below production price... but the question is how long these metal prices stay at these low levels????? Are these huge developing countries china & india going to leave there cites half finished??? Dont think so...

I agree copper inventories have increased in the last few months but copper inventories are only 20% what they were 7-8years ago. so i cant call it a huge stockpile, that can disappear pretty quickly....

No company is going to sell any commodity below production cost for too long & we are close to those levels at the moment, most producing companies will have no choice but close down there production plants as they will be no longer profitable...World consumpstion will quickly outweigh production as not many producers will able to produce at very low cost....
