Sorry mate, but I don’t totally agree...
Your example was poor IMO so I’ll put it this way.....
You go to the bank with the intention of applying for a loan.....
Firstly, the bank won’t say no to a loan until they have your formal application (as that is how they assess you), so your example is flawed from the start.
Moreover the process is....
You make a formal application as they did....
After/during the formal application there are only three options....
1. Approvel
2. Denied
3. Withdrawn
This application was withdrawn i.e. the Chinese WITHDRAW their offer. That is the outcome, the FIRB did not reject the application.
Now would they have definitely denied the application? Who knows?
How about saying a person goes to the bank for a loan.
During the loan process they see a much better option (with bank two), than the loan they are applying for.
Thus, they withdraw application one and go with application two.....
Its option two that I think will be the bad news for AVZ coming in the near future.
But hey what would I know, the up rampers seen to know exactly what will happen, until it doesn’t.
Hope it works out for you guys
All IMO.
Cheers.
