They have or in progress of lodging a patent on the mobile app - this will likely mean the technology is valuable and/or a game changer as most people don’t patent things due to costs so must be unique.
After the patent has been received/registered (not approved) I would say we will get an announcement as they don’t want to ruin the chance of the patent by just releasing info or the to the public and someone quickly copies it.
That is my opinion and basing it off my interpretation of the update on Trello.
The actual part of releasing an app once developed only takes something like 48 hours for Apple and google to approve and loaded.
Alpha and closed beta of the app is completed so it certainly is coming soon.
