I'm going to play the Devil's advocate here, not because I want to be controversial, but because there is a longer term view that one day will have some effect here. Emphasis on 'longer term.' In the short term and foreseeable future, lets all make a million on MSB. I bought in last Friday and will hold for now.

Now for the alternative. Please allow me to lay some groundwork. Stay with me. But first, I'm not trying to overthrow public opinion here. I'm only sharing what I know. I'm not playing with fire.

Many readers know that a vaccine is still a distant hope. But let's be clear about one thing. If a vaccine was produced tomorrow, then we'll have a case of pulled rug here, if only on the COVID aspect of the trade. MSB's other work will continue to do what it will do. But a successful vaccine will result in MSC as a treatment for COVID having a shorter shelf life, so to speak. MSC won't vanish, but the effect on the relative segment of share price will. And let's face it, that's what really counts here.

Before I go any further, I want to remind readers that there is a fantastic trade about to occur in MSB. I'm not playing with fire.

Readers of proper research will also know that there are some issues with coronavirus vaccines. There isn't one for any strain presently, human or non. There is also reason to believe that these difficulties won't be overcome quickly, like that at UoQ, where the unique clamp technology is 'hopefully' going to fast track outcomes. Then there is the issue of mutation, as pointed out above by another poster, where the mute rate is quite significant. No surprizes there; after all, coronaviruses and influenza are both RNA viruses, and as we all know, influenza vaccines require regenerating every season. (Both influenza and coronaviruses are RNA virus using host DNA for replication. Human interconnections due to modern global travel greatly assists mutation rates). The point is, a successful SARS-COV-2 vaccine is not yet in sight, and it is becoming popular for journalists to bring forth all the issues, which of course is making traders here further excited, and rightly so.

But vaccine developers are barking up the wrong corona tree. Vaccines under development are utilizing the S (spike) protein as their central target. This is typical, as the S is the cleavage site for virus attachment and infusion into host cells. Most of you will have heard about ACE2 receptors. But for reasons too lengthy to provide here, S may end up being not the best target, and mutation is only one issue. S is where most mutation so far has occurred. (I won't provide further references here).

Let's remind ourselves, there's a great trade about to occur with MSB. I'm not playing with fire.

For those of you who know your coronaviruses, S is only one of four essential structural proteins. The others are M, N, and E.

At this my friends, I will call it a night, but not without stating that it is E that will provide the successful target for a vaccine. I can provide you with numerous research papers suggesting so, but I won't. You'll find then if you're interested. Anyway, that is still a while off, and in the meantime there is a great trade to be made here. I'm not playing with fire.

But now I will play with fire.

Before an attenuated E vaccine is developed, there will be an E based antiviral produced. A successful antiviral will become the next best thing to a vaccine, as it will become a cure. An antiviral cure is what we require while waiting for a vaccine. We'll all hear about the antiviral being developed by an Australian ASX listed biotech in the very near future. Maybe even this week. It won't be a fire that extinguishers the flames here on this thread, but it will make for a great barbecue at my place.

    You're all welcome.
