Lots of hype in the covid realm.

An tbh I don't know why I've been posting so much here these past two days. Different opinions obviously aren't that welcome.

I get that. If I were coming here being all "mEsObLaSt is dUmB" I get it, tell me off and move on.

I've been lurking MSB for a while. INTERESTING results get reported, I get excited, come see what people think.

I find people posting how this is the cure for covid. How if they had family on ventilators they'd be begging for this treatment. How this study can't possibly be interpreted any other way.

I get concerned, because this isn't really how any of this works. This isn't how evidence based medicine works. This isn't how science works.

I don't expect people to get this, I'm not an expert at all but I've been in the field a while now and understand a bit more than the average bear.

I try and lay down a bit of advice. Get hit with personal attacks and vitriol. Get so many replies, it gets a bit addictive to try and respond to them all.

Leads to 30 odd posts (probably more now haha).

TBH I'm procrastinating studying as well, which doesn't help.

So there ya have it, no ulterior motive, no thoughts that any of these posts will manage to drive down the price.

And with that I've got to get back to studying.

GLTAH Monday will be interesting, I'll bet it moons (honestly a bit jealous I'm not holding!)
