Hi Deboss, the fact they proposed Lobito and Salaam as 50/50 ports of use suggests AVZ may be thinking two markets IMO as well. Lobito = Europe, whilst Salaam = China and that saves on post FOB transport costs to these respective markets through using two ports, but only definitive Offtakes will show that that is indeed the strategy on why the two port shipping strategy (hence until then we are speculating). I posted this view view at the time of the DFS as well.
As to what sulphate is and how process differs to hydroxide, and what cost savings arise and how the two products inter-relate, this post of mine explains it, especially he link to 'power requirements' as does the thread itself): Post #: 43488218
On a final thought, during the weekend there was quite a bit of debate, and unfortunately some posters, who have posted in the forum for some time, have been sent to the sin bin for what would appear to be a 'while'. Roller, hope your not in the sin bin for too long. Given the weekend debate, and the emotions arising, I intend been more careful myself how I post when I get drawn into debates with others.
