    Couldn't agree more schlomo......that is hard to watch, and would be exponentially more gut wrenching and torturous for those that lost one loved ones as a result of the murderous actions of these deranged fools.

    I know that it's easy for me to sit here and say that they shouldn't be executed when I'm not in the position of these people that have suffered directly, but sometimes decisions are best made from a removed position. I believe this is such a situation.

    Don't worry, my heart won't bleed for them when they're executed, but in my heart I will feel that Australia generally has succumbed to the ugliness that leads to these horrific acts in the first place, and we've really left ourselves open to accusations of hypocrisy.

    Anyway, I just wanted to offer a different viewpoint on the thing, perhaps in the hope that others might understand my type of thinking. Regardless, I have great sympathy for the victims. No question about that.
