    Interesting on the threads - how the day traders are perceived .I think they get blamed for what the market maker is actually doing - you know , when the share doesn't keep going up because it is overbought - somehow the day traders are to blame for causing the plunge that follows . They are probably getting blamed , when the share isn't even getting mentioned on this thread, or even being targeted by daytraders . It is probably just their grief at having given back the rise yet again (that's how it goes with trading - up and down , up and down. -It feels better to be angry at the daytraders, when they should have sold themselves - If the daytraders didn't sell, they would just go down with the ship also . Daytraders can't keep a share propped up beyond where the market maker is prepared to support it. If they tried , the market maker would just take them down with the share price - anyway. Daytraders seem to be viewed as more powerful and competent than they probably are .
