guys, why are you so concerned with the USD. We live, except for China, in a world of floating currencies. if people, as they shown with the AUD, sold out of it and invested in other currecies. It matters not what the currency is the market is always right. If the USD is now strong, so be it because thats what the market wants.
it seems that many of you have idealogical differences and are very anti american everything. At present the markets are attacking what is seemingly irrational, and potentially to australia's advantageas australian goods are now cheaper.
As to the US not producing anything, again a very poor understanding of the economic realities. They are the largest trading nation in both exports and imports.
And fight, why why doesnt the chinese float their currency?
