The Asians do not want to let their currencies float so they manipulate them. This crisis has shown their strategy is wrong-headed.
I think China has got a hide saying something like that. If there was another currency they would just hoard that as they have hoarded the US Treasuries they own. They are squealing because they can see all that value stored in US treasuries going down the drain.
