    Hi Mitis

Great question for JP. I know they were looking at seismic surveys which were cost prohibitive at around $1m plus. Not sure why they didn't consider the cheaper MT / AMT at the time but having said this that survey adds up to lots of $ too.

Also remember they were 100% focused on the near surface targets that are more economical rather than the deeper source.

Maybe they thought they had it nailed the shallow near surface source with the DHEMs and other much cheaper surveys and the cheapest and most logical option at the time was to diamond drill at around @ $200 per metre.

Whilst several of us were pushing for deeper drilling years back the shallow depth DHEM and survey strategy still had a good chance of succeeding and as it was viewed as being cheaper at the time was worth the try.

Hindsight is a great thing and no one gets it 100% right all the time - not even the experts. Let's just all be blood glad they have now done it and it leads to a huge pay day for us.

    Cheers
    SandyC
