Yeah and large studies show all cause mortality increases every unit of blood someone is transfused in hospital.
Blood is one of the riskier therapies you can give in hospital, that's why there's complex protocols involved with giving it, whereas I can skip through the icu prescribing fentanyl with nil issues.
Blood has also been used and studied much more than MSCs.
