Boondog claims $30 billion revenue loss as a result, with a subsequent $10-$15 share price.
Let's look at that....
BHP total revenue in 2008 was $59 billion.
Iron ore accounted for $9.4 billion of total revenue.
Now, a couple of spadefuls of Fortescue ore will run on BHP's lines, so what happens???
BHP would have to shut up shop in the Pilbera and revenue loss would still be ..... nowhere near the $30 billion claimed.
Let's stop the panic folks, and apply a modicum of logic. ;)
