Percentage-wise, a stock can always rise more than it can fall (can not fall more than 100%, can rise many '00s%) so there is always more up than down.

Bank managers don't necessarily share my world view, but it is worth noting that those that invest at the bottom are not just going to make some percentage profit, it will be a question of the multiple: two times, three times, four times etc.

Time to have a garage sale in preparation for upside buying.
