Not blaming anyone but myself for my losses, I jumped into share trading quickly and assumed that people in a community like this would be wanting to help each other to realize gains.
The little guy against the big traders.
It turns out to just be (a bit) the little guy against the other little guys trying to scrap out a day to day living trading by pumping and dumping micro caps.
I don't think there's anything wrong with calling out such obvious pump and dump operations, such as Demoniaco's (who is banned co-incidentally)
These Daily Trading threads should be about experienced people helping everyone else to get onto great stocks that are moving upwards or look to have high volatility. There are some posters in here that do exactly that. And if a side benefit is that everyone gets on the train and the train goes up then that is fantastic.
These DT threads shouldn't be about picking a micro cap and pumping it early with 1 or 2 others, everyone pronouncing how amazing they think it is and hoping that you can sucker newbies into it and sell it to make your $300 or $400 profit for the day.
Personally my portfolio is down a bit, but it's a small portion of my wealth. I'm holding a few stocks that I think are undervalued. They were P&D'ed here but I did research and bought into the pump based on medium to long term views.
I've had much more expensive lessons in life than a few $K here.
