Let me put this back to you. How many Australian companies with an overseas 'flagship' project have gone from explorer to miner and in process delivered shareholder returns? Let's not even talk Africa. Try 'about zero'.

On that basis and the massive amount of dilution, execution risk, economic environment, and lack of management track record, I'd say the probability of meanfulingful shareholder returns over the longer term are also close to 'about zero'.

Fair enough if people want to have a punt like on the lotto as miracles can happen. But you'd never see somebody buying a scratchie claiming it's a guaranteed jackpot win. However that is precisely what is going on here. Have you noticed that none of these supporters ever talk about risk. They claim there is none.
