What utter rubbish -

Sometimes people sell stock down on the close, sometimes people pay up on the close. This is normal trading activity.

The reason you often see 1 share left, or the last trade being of 1 share is people try to snip stock on the overlap, buying or selling as much stock as possible without ticking up the price to the next level. Please learn how the closing match works before reporting such trivial nonsense to ASX and ASIC.
