What are the FDA conditions for the use of Remdesivir in COVID-19? Is Remdesivir to be given to everyone who has COVID-19 who is an inpatient?
What antiviral or other curative drug was given to the 150,000 people who have recovered in the US? I suspect a lot of it was down to the work of ICU and other hospital staff, along with healthy enough immune systems.
Remestemcel-L at the moment is only likely to be given to those who run a significant risk of death from ARDS or other complications of COVID-19, perhaps part of the reason why the Primary measure is death by all causes. It is very unlikely to be given to those who are likely to recover by other means, i.e. an excellent standard of care.
