Guys - I rang Allco today as I hold 2000 AFGHA's in my super fund. They told me the payment date is still the 17/10/08. I asked about when the ex-dates and confirming the rate will be announced like last time and was told it will be tomorrow.

While I can only take this at face value I can't really believe that the investor relations guys would lie to me. So I am assuming it is true atm. It does confirm for me my thoughts. I think that the huge drop in price has been based on ill informed speculation, sensationalist reporting in the press and very thin Volumne.

I am still convinced that this payment will be made. As I was earlier this week when I brought 600 more at $10. Gee wish I waited a few days. Man if the payment is made the guys who got in for $5.50 today will be laughing.

I know it aint paid till the cheque clears and circumstances may still conspire against us and it maybe canned. But I now have the company investor relations confirming the date it will be paid. And nothing concrete to say it won't.

No I am not planning to buy more as I think I hold enough and the share market has been a fickle bitch these last few months. I am also not recommending people to go out and buy more it is still a risky propersition. I just write to pass this info on in the hope this gives a wee bit of comfort to those still holding and takes away some of that empty feeling in the pit of your stomach that has been building for a few days.
