Yes shann17, there is a good range of comments for CUO around on hotcopper. The same can't be said about all stocks that I watch on hotcopper. UMC (held) is completely full of cheerleaders who can rarely can see negatives.

I am often negative on CUO in this forum because it is important to keep perspective. But I hold for a reason!

EAGLE888. Maquarie do not hold the power in this. Copperco is free to negotiate with anybody for refinacing. The first place they would go for financing is their existing financers who already have a large number of options attached to the current holdings. Mind you those options are likely worthless considering 65c is unlikely to be seen in the next few years.
