GR,its a developing technology.
I find it hard to understand the term 'standalone' 5g not requiring 4g.?

This so called 'stand alone' 5g is 700mgz to 3.6ghz regarded as transitional 5g spectrum.

I don't know what standalone 5g means when my understanding it still requires 4g 700mgz,but 700mgz is now regarded as a transitional 5g spectrum.
But its developing,maybe in the next round of 5g standards 'coherres' technology maybe included in real mmWave 5g stds.?.And may help replace the 700mgz that is still required.????

I guess my point is nikos is probably attempting to develop a difference between tls's mobile network compared to optus and vodafone.But he is limited by spectrum.
But what I like is he ,imo only,will continue to develop this so called standalone' or pure or enhanced 5g plan from cheaper 4g/5g belended plans.
I like the idea.
As it gives tls the option to chase spectrums like 300ghz for their pure 5g plan,while competing with vodafone with the 4g/5g blended plans.
Anyway,thats the way i feel,and i'm more comfortable tls will be researching or planning for the release of 300ghz (6g spectrum) and using it to enhance the tls pure 5g network.
as posted amca is asking for submissions from interested parties on the planned re allocation of this 6g spectrum.ie telcos,gps users and satellite users including military users.
