Cynical View: By increasing the SPP, when the share price is below the application price, they are grabbing more shares at a premium price, exposing the applicants to greater losses on their purchase.
Personally, I’m happy I avoided it, not enough discount last week to make it worthwhile.
On the positive side: the extra shares issued will increase the market cap, helping to keep it in the ASX300 index.
