    Jesimore,

Really, with respect, is that not just living in a time warp along with the fairies at the bottom of Mr Hanc ocks garden?

Offer of $1.32 ps? never seen it myself, only seen 50 cents and some "temporarily 26 cps" paper worth about another 49 cents offered. Must be sitting down the bottom of the garden too, along with the combined group mc of $200mm, LOL, more like $90mm if you are lucky, in the post Oct crash era. Been seeing too many fairies imho, those arrogant hubris filled coeboys.

Not sure how you exited at 97 last Friday, as Etrade tells me the high was 96, bottom of the garden? Well done indeed.

Done pretty poorly on everything in recent months myself, except IPM, where I am about breakeven, plus most of the divi on top. Not very keen on the Trans Atlantic Claytons offer myself, but at least it gave me an opportunity to reduce my holding to a more realistic portion of my severely reduced net worth - and without taking a loss.

In this new era if someone was really offering $1.32, I'd jump at it - but the realist in me knows the noncash part of COE's offer is likely to quickly vapourise if the offer is accepted by the reluctant/desperate, as they then rush for the exits.

If you think IPM would be 50 cps (mc $40mm), just think what the new COE will be worth devoid of much of it's cash, and with Selmo as it's main asset? worse if it gets 40%, or 60% and IPM really does then flounder around 50 cps what that would do for COE sp? not pretty imho, a one handle?

    EL
