Seriously? That is so tremendously unimpressive and of little consequence to the 8% who still die.

So a less than 4% improvement in mortality and....adverse effects? "10 percent of patients in either group were nausea (5-day: 10.0%, n=20/200 vs. 10-day: 8.6%, n=17/197) and acute respiratory failure (5-day: 6.0%, n=12/200 vs. 10-day: 10.7%, n= 21/197). Grade 3 or higher liver enzyme (ALT) elevations occurred in 7.3 percent (n=28/385) of patients, with 3.0 percent (n=12/397) of patients discontinuing remdesivir treatment due to elevated liver tests".

Gilead's treatment is crap. Its the US prerogative I hear you say? No, in Australia our muppet authorities are ordering the drug for 5 hospitals in Australia.
