Leaving aside your assertion about the impossibility of reselling virtual items or currency, do you understand what a charge back is, and why a company might want to avoid charging stolen credit cards and having charge backs levied against them? It's pretty self evident. Perhaps you don't realise, but if you as a business have too many charge backs, two things occur - each time it happens you get charged a fee, and secondly your merchant banker tends to get the shits with you.
