In fact, the numbers are even better than what Blakes7 says, because the endpoint of the measurement is always "survival to XXX days OR to transplant" in the BTT trial anyway. I think XXX is 180 days in this particular trial.

So once a patient is transplanted, they no longer "count" towards the statistics for Ventrassist.

I've seen the same number that Blakes7 has put up - 85% survival to 12 months, so the average is significantly in excess of 12 months.
