With a nick like yours its obvious you can spot "pork-barrelling" when you see it! The good thing is that even with an issue price of 45 cents it tells us that management have very good reasons to expect that the share price will be well north of 45 cents in the not too distant future. To be any sort of incentive for the MD the share price will need to get to at least 65 cents and he would be expecting 90+ I reckon.

I agree though that the Chairman does not do enough to warrant this sort of "incentive". He's a Non-Executive Chairman .. so he chairs half a dozen meetings a year, and on top of his salary 500k shares if the share price gets to say 95 cents (completely doable as it has been there before) that's another $250,000 to Anderson. An outrageous example of a boy's club at work!
