I get the impression that you are out of touch with gaming and how related transactions take place. I gave you a clear example of how charge backs would affect third party sellers. I could send money to someone from a phished card, receive items in trade, and then resell these items elsewhere. When the transactions on the phished card are reversed, the funds will be retrieved from the seller who sent me that item. They have now lost the item and not received funds. If I had your details I could do this quite easily, most likely until the point that your bank flags and prevents the transactions. Your statement "it would be virtually impossible for unauthorised party to make purchases in game regardless whether they have your CC details on hand" is simply wrong, and it is because you misunderstand modern gaming and/or scamming. The security measures you discuss are to prevent others from accessing your account, which is completely different to fraudulent payments. Multi-factor authentication is also not particularly relevant here as these are methods being used by large scale operators for account security whilst ISX is most likely handling payments for resellers.
