Taking a loss and switching is no crime, nor taking a heavily clipped profit. My regret is more with what I have stuck by too long, but yes I have made some classic losses selling something when it is down, even selling at the bottom. I try to be a long term investor, but it never seems to be prudent, few stocks seem to climb year after year.
I will stick to fundamentals, but must take more account of trends in future, eg IGO.
Not sure what is happening in IPM but it looks like I lightened a little early.
