You can't use a stethoscope over the telehealth to perform such a routine function and what is the alternative (other than face to face or starting more $$$/time expensive testing procedures without simple triage)? When I see a doctor they rarely tell me the price of anything unless it is significant. You just go to the counter and pay the gap. I don't see $5-10 being significant, so I don't believe it will be discussed and therefore a non-issue. But who's to say it won't be subsidized in the future as it becomes the norm or covered by Health Insurance, etc? My reasoning is you can't do a proper telehealth consultation without ResAppDX when the doctors know it's there and available. There'll be no discussion just people using it.

That's the point Barbarian.....at least initially not all GP consultations will be available by telehealth, and hence why the government will limit the range of appointments that can be provided.
