No idea - but I completely agree with your comments regarding the preference to 'name and shame' anyone who may have tried to shift the goalposts after the trading halt was put in place. (if that is what happened?)
On that note, further details from management wouldn't have gone astray either. You can explain a situation pretty clearly without naming names...
