True that mines do get built and financed in Africa. However including the massive CAPEX there is the infrastructure to build too, upgrade power, roads etc etc. But at what cost (to ASX shareholders)? I havent seen any meaningful discussion on the split between a hopeful massive upfront OT payment and cheap debt. There’s going to be at least a few hundred million more shares issued, maybe loss of % ownership, ie more dilution for shareholders. The best bet (oops I mean calculated investment strategy) would be for a TO above 10-12c at best ... but that’s imo and general discussion (as is to be expected on an internet share forum).
Big question is where the finance will come from and at what cost. China are not in the business of looking after Jo Blow shareholder from Australia/NZ/....
