Because most small shareholders are sheep happy to be led to the slaughter. It has never been easier for shareholders to band together and oppose actions that are not in their interest, yet few bother to get off their ARS's and do anything.

For those that think I am just a bitter ex-holder I are not. What I am opposed to is letting companies get away with murder since every time the shareholders allow themselves to be taken to the cleaners it only emboldens then next company to do the same - that next company might be one I am invested in.
