That's what I've always liked about Keating- he thinks deeply about issues he's always had the guts to say what he thinks. Unlike the current crop who constantly pander to the ill-educated masses including the Gallipoli pilgrims, whose knowledge of the conflict in many cases doesn't extend beyond what they gleaned from half watching the movie up the back of the History class back in Year 9. Then they go over draped in the Aussie flag, get tanked, trash the place and then get all misty at dawn.
