Once an deposit has more than 30 years of reserves - the rest is really for show. It doesn't factor in most investors DCF calculations due to the time value of money.
There is an argument to say that a larger reserve will allow future mine expansions, and is therefore a valuable option.
But in lithium, the end market is currently not large and even with rapid growth, fully exploiting LTR's large resource would simply swamp the market.
The focus should be on capex, cost base, margins, NPV and IRR - not resource size
