Hi All
Below is a very interesting and extremely encouraging piece of analysis by a research company called Terra Studio. It provides Interval Nickel Equivalent Grade (% Ni EG based on Ni, Cu and Co) drill hole intercepts benchmarking for the top 7 leading nickel projects in Australia being run by ASX nickel explorers / producers IGO, MCR, NMT, POS, RXL, CTM & SGQ.
My observations are:
- Extremely encouraging to see that only MCR has higher grade shallow intercepts (<100m) than St George.St George’s results whilst not as high as MCR’s are still excellent ranging between 3.8% & 6% with a better strike length at 5.5km and with a very high potential to extent to 14.5km.
- St George leads the pack on the number of high quality intercepts between 100m and 220m.Intercepts range between 5% & 9.5%.Again, a better strike length at 5.5km and with a very high potential to extent to 14.5km.
- IGA (Nova-Bollinger) and then MCR (Kambalda) lead the pack with the greatest number of high quality intercepts at depth between 250m and 500m.
- St George is only just beginning to target drill between 250m and say 800m with the upcoming drilling program so based on the IGA and MCR experience (what is close to the surface is even better at depth) St George management and shareholders have a lot to be extremely excited about based on the latest MT / AMT Nickel Mafic / Ultramafics “Road Map” drilling targets.
- Stricklands as the shallowest St George deposit should bring in a high value high return mineral resource given all the existing infrastructure in the region. However, on top of this and as some posters have also indicated given the MAD71 results, Stricklands like Investigators may well have something even better at depth.
Lots to be very excited about with this up and coming drill program.
Go St George and Happy Days for All Holders.
