Myer will not last through this global depression that has started and will accelerate in the later part of the year. We will end up with one department store in Australia and that will be David Jones. How dumb is Myer closing their stores.....David Jones has not closed a single store....imagine the build up in inventory and the huge markdowns they have to do when they come back on line.
The only question that needs to be answered is will a cap raise help them get out of this mess or simply just go broke.
